Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?
Reading whatever happened to the man of tomorrow was quite interesting to see such an alternative take on super hero comics.
Designed in the same Jack Kirby style, it depicts a Daily Planet Reporter interviewing Lois Lane on life post-Superman, as he's been gone for 10 years now, and Lois is being asked to recall her last memories of Superman.
In it she recalls his final battles between Lex Luthor and Braniac, and ultimately what led to Superman disappearing: He broke his own rule, to never kill.
In accidentally killing one of his foes in an attempt to trap him into the phantom zone, Superman breaks his own rule and decides to strip himself of his powers, living alone in the arctic.
It is assumed by everyone that Superman falls when he lives as a human in Arctic conditions, but in a classic reveal, Lois' husband has resembling traits with Superman himself, as he winks at the reader.
